Pride and Prejudice… and zombies?

I am rather certain that our weekend really cemented our status as Janeites. Okay okay maybe not that drastic, but really we sat through Lost in Austen for the sake of it.

Maybe I am getting a little ahead of myself here, and I need to explain what we actually did all weekend.

My partner in crime, Rikke, and I watched pretty much all the Pride and Prejudice we hadn’t already. Which means 10+ hours of Pride and Prejudice adaptations. We went through Lost in Austen, Death comes to Pemberley, Pride and Prejudice 1980 BBC mini series, Pride and Prejudice 1940 movie and Bride and Prejudice. We skipped the ones we have already watched, which are Pride and Prejudice 1995 BBC mini series, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Pride and Prejudice 2005 movie along with two extras – as you might call them – Austenland and Bridget Jones’s Diary. All in all a lot of hours have been spent with Pride and Prejudice.

We decided to skip the Pride and Prejudice 2004 movie, because the one American in Bride and Prejudice is pretty much all the American we can handle.

It is such a shame the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies movie doesn’t come out until next year, because otherwise we would have included that too.

Zombie dance.

Why all of this Pride and Prejudice madness you might ask. Because we have decided to rank all of the characters from amazing to absolutely intolerable – if Amanda from Lost in Austen was an actual character from the actual book she would most definitely be tanked at the bottom, and then some. The list will come, as soon as we are done with this iZombie gif challenge (this being post number six out of ten).
