Neglect: To fail to do or carry out, as through carelessness or oversight

So I’ve looked at things and realised that I have actually not written a single word on this blog since June 29th. It is terrible, appalling and loads of other nasty words that should so not be written down on the Internet (because my written language is always so sober… or something).

Because a picture is worth a thousand words.
Because a picture is worth a thousand words.

As the headline displays I’ve looked into the meaning of neglect and I have come to the conclusion that my leaving the blog for way more than two months is a prime example of such. But instead of wallowing over the pediment and sad state of the situation I have decided to rather move forward. Turn over a new leaf – as people say.

I’ve actually missed writing, but every time I’ve sat down to start something I’ve been repetitiously interrupted and hence never actually finished any of my many thoughts, because there really have been quite a few. I’ve not exactly had a boring Summer so there should be plenty to talk about in the months to come.

The many interesting subjects you have to look forward to includes:

  • Looking for a new tenant
  • Freshman weeks
  • Rome
  • Paris
  • Upcoming master thesis
  • Incompetent teachers, lecturers, professors
  • Uninterested students
  • Research Methods
  • Work, more work, most work
  • Parties
  • Friendships
  • Moving
  • Volunteering
  • Making new friends
  • Losing old friends

… and much much more

So there it is. Now you have it in writing so some might say that I have to write about all that stuff. And I will. In time.

All in due time. There is no rush at when it comes to our blog. I think that the neglect just shows the world more of who we are as people. It another insight into our mad minds.

But that being said I am looking forward to hearing everything you have to say about the above subjects.
